“ My dad is in the hospital here in Tyler and is not a fan of the hospital food, so I had Spring Creek delivered. The food was so good! Delivery was so quick and the food was still fresh and warm. My dad's appetite has been non-existent while in the hospital, and he devoured part of the food as soon as it was in front of him. I ordered the three meat combo with the sliced brisket, the black pepper sausage, and the ribs. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender with a nice flavor. The sausage was a little greasy, but so good! But the brisket was hands down the absolute best! The charred edges were seriously mouthwatering delicious. The Mac and cheese was ok, and the cole slaw was really good if you are a fan of the saucy slaw, which I am. We also got the fried okra because my dad loves fried okra, and the first thing he said when he tried it was "Oh, that's some good okra!" Thank you Spring Creek for encouraging him to eat by serving delicious BBQ. All in all, I will be ordering from here again. ”
“ Really good barbecue, no complaints. My family of 4 all ate for around 60 bucks and were very satisfied. The brisket was a little dry but still delicious. I get it brisket is a tough thing to get right all the time. Everything else was perfect even the sides. The mac-n-cheese was so cheese and fresh hot rolls brought to the table right out the oven, amazing. This was our first visit here it won't be our last. ”
“ BBQ isn't cheap these days (was it ever? I dunno). But if the BBQ is good, the price is worth it. I visited Spring Creek Barbeque at 6pm on a Wednesday. They weren't super busy, which is a shame, because the BBQ was on point. But first, I want to talk about the people--everyone was super friendly, served with a smile, and happily helped me out when I needed to find the silverware or a bottle opener for my beer. I had the 3-meat plate: St. Louis style ribs, black pepper sausage, and brisket. I paired that with pinto beans and mac and cheese with banana pudding for dessert. The brisket was amazing. Melt-in-your-mouth tender, with just a bit of fat on it, like a brisket should. Each bite had a wonderfully smokey flavor, and I would have been satisfied with just having this. That said, the black pepper sausage is also out of this world. It's hands-down better than standard BBQ sausage, with a ton of peppery goodness in every bite. The St. Louis style ribs were fat, meaty, juicy, and fell right off the bone. All of these were so tasty, I ate a good portion of them without even using barbecue sauce. I didn't want to cover up the flavor of all that delicious meat! The sides were perfectly acceptable. I'm not a big mac and cheese fan in general, but theirs was as good as any I've had at any BBQ place. It's not Kraft or Velveeta from a box, which gave it points in my book. The beans were tasty, if not overly spiced. A bit of Tabasco would have hit the spot. The dinner roll had a nice firm top crust with a fluffy and soft interior. I was offered another partway through my meal, but I was already having trouble finishing everything in front of me. I ended up leaving some of the dessert and sides, but there was no way I was going to leave a scrap of that delicious meat on my plate. The banana pudding tasted like Jello brand banana pudding with Nilla wafers. And that's not a complaint--it reminded of my mom's, which gave me big comfort-food vibes. I've eaten here (and been very happy) many times, but usually via delivery. I haven't been inside in a while, so I took this opportunity to whip out my camera for a review. ”
“ Came here and I ordered a pulled pork sandwich, sausage, mac and cheese, potato salad, and French fries. I will not order the fries again only because I had too much food and I had to eat the fries! Can’t eat leftover fries. But the food was soo good. My favorite was their potato salad. ”
“ The guys cutting/serving the meat are always so friendly! The food is always delicious. It's a great, casual place to enjoy good food and good fellowship with friends or family. Definitely recommend! ”
“ Great BBQ turkey & ribs with lots of veggie options. Love the freshly baked yeast rolls. Kids Menu. Large dining room. Friendly staff. ”
“ Food was good. Workers were friendly. Pleasant atmosphere. Plenty of seating. ”
“ My family and went there today and I am 100% satisfied with the food and service we've received. The brisket was tender and juicy and the chicken was phenomenal. This is a great place for BBQ. The nice lady made sure we had fresh rolls with our meals, and everyone that worked there seem to be customer service driven. It is refreshing to dine in a restaurant where everyone had a smile on there face and eager to help. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great BBQ. ”
